Villas and flats in one community
A townhouse owner and an apartment block in the same community want opposite things — one wants their own system and their own app, the other wants an intercom that every flat can use and a door release that works from a phone. Both are quoted here, and they are not the same job.
Facade rules at handover
Most of these communities restrict what may be fixed to an elevation or seen from the street. Cameras are placed to respect that and still cover the approach, which usually means working from the soffit and the corners rather than the face of the wall.
The back gate and the garden
Community security covers the way in. Inside it, the side gate, the garden wall and the garage are where an entry would actually happen, and that is where most of the cameras end up.
Worth knowing
These communities are a drive from most of Dubai, so we batch maintenance visits here rather than coming out for one call-out — worth knowing when an AMC schedule is being set.
