For homes
Security systems for villas
Smart home and security for villas — from the gate to the bedroom door.
A villa has more ways in than an apartment: gates, garden walls, a garage, the pool area and several doors. We design one system that covers all of them — cameras, alarm, video intercom and gate automation — and, if you want it, the smart home that ties it together.
A typical system
What we'd usually install
- Cameras on each gate, the driveway, every external door and the garden
- Intruder alarm with door contacts and outdoor detectors, controlled from the app
- Video intercom at the gate with release from your phone
- Automatic sliding or swing gate with safety photocells
- Whole-villa Wi-Fi so cameras and phones stay connected
- Optional: KNX or wireless smart home for lighting, climate and curtains
What matters
What matters for villas
The perimeter and the gates
Walls, gates and the driveway are where trouble starts — they need cameras that identify and, ideally, detection before anyone reaches the house.
Who's at the door when you're out
Deliveries, contractors and guests arrive while you're at work. A video intercom on your phone lets you see, speak and open the gate.
Staff and access
Drivers, nannies, cleaners and gardeners come and go. Codes and cards that work only at set hours beat copying keys.
Long summers away
Weeks abroad mean alerts, remote checks, lights on schedules and leak sensors — and a way to let someone in if they need to be.

What we install for villas
SIRA
Does SIRA apply to my home?
SIRA regulates commercial premises, not private homes — so a villa has no SIRA duty and no paperwork to file. We install to the same standard either way, because it is the standard our team works to.
How SIRA compliance works →Maintenance
Keeping it working
Dust, heat and humidity are hard on outdoor cameras and gate motors. For a single villa, quarterly visits are usually enough; choose a plan with round-the-clock support if you travel a lot.

Common questions
Yes. We route cable through existing conduits, ceiling voids and along the outside where we can, and use wireless devices where cabling would mean breaking finishes. The survey tells you exactly what's involved before you agree to anything.
With a video intercom linked to the gate or the door lock, yes — you see who it is on your phone and release it. Staff can also have their own card or code that only works at set hours.
